S1 mirrors... what are they? anyone got a pair?

Can anyone tell me what the mirrors came from on the Series 1 Tasmin Rag Top?

Even better, has anyone got a pair looking for a home?

My car had manual mirrors and currently has aftermarket ones that will not adjust to give any sort of view behind! In fact, I have just read an article about my car - Motorsport June 1981 - at that stage it was TVR 22, and they report that it didn't have a near side mirror at all.

Hi Andy,

I feel embarrassed always coming back to you. Not necessarily electric, though if they are a simple fit, I would be interested. I have discovered that this car never originally had a n/s mirror at all!

Any advice and/or mirrors would be welcome.

How's it being back at work? I hope the foot's holding up ok.

The mirror motors seem to work fine and I have replaced the rusty mirror back.

Trying to see how the fixing plates lock into the mirror base. The grub screws are obvious, but there seems to be nowhere for the opposing side of the plate to lock into.
