e60 m5 oil level

Just 3 weeks back into m5 ownership . Oil level warning came on , added the litre of liquid gold ( not gtx, just v expensive ) but c40miles on the oil level, when checked via the i drive, still shows oil on minimum .
Any advice ?

With the engine running come to a stop. Stick it in N. Scroll through the menu on the orange screen (between the rev counter and speedo) until it comes to oil level. Then, hold that same button in for a few seconds until the little clock symbol appears. Once its done its measurments it should then read the oil level as being full.
