Has anyone used Dynamat or something similar in their Griff?

Have all the carpets out in readiness for making new set and was thinking of using Dynamat at the rear section

Yes, I have used a dynamat like product in place of the weird foam stuff TVR used on the back shelf. It did the job nicely and gave a decent surface for the alcantara I have on the shelf.

Sorry - I don't remember what it was called. I'm sure there was a sheet left over, so it must have a label on it somewhere...

It'll never be quiet like the Jag, but it god rid of some of the road and transmission noises, and acts to some extent as heat insulation on the transmission tunnel.
