Dont trust the dealers
Discussion
I recently enquired at my Trev dealer if it was possible to get new seals for a clutch master cylinder. They said no and I have to buy a new unit at £54. However in my hand C/O Joolz at Joospeed, I have a seal kit costing me £8.37. The moral of the story is never take no for an answer. A bit of research pays off.

I wasnt slagging dealers off, I was merely pointing out a bit research is advisable when sourcing bits. The same dealer has been very helpful on several occasions and I would go back for more help. Sorry for the confusion.
If you weren't slagging dealers off then it is worth thinking a bit harder before coming up with your topic header. Asking people not to trust dealers is, to me, a fairly generic slagging of dealers.
And for the record, the last dealer I dealt with fixed my sqeaky brakes at no cost, without an appointment, having shown up off the street on the spur of the moment. I'm not even/have been a customer. I love them all.
Feel the love in the room!
Where are my pills?

...and the third rule is that if you do get cought shagging the chickens, deny everything and stick to the story that you thought you'd picked up Liza Minelli in a dodgy wine bar.
