Audi 80 oil cooler pipes

Hello chaps

My mate has a 1993 Audi 80 2.0 E automatic.

His gearbox oil cooler pipes have started to leak, he's had a quote of £300.00 from Audi, which seems a bit steep.

We've tried a hydraulic company in Worcester, but as they ar "automotive", the company says it cannot help.

Does anyone know where you can get this type of pipe made up ?

Just try another hydraulic company, had plenty made up over the years.

Or scrap yard.

Any Pirtek hydraulic supplier will do them probably about a third if the price too.

"This type of pipe" is as informative as "how long is a piece of string ?"

You dont state if the pipes are steel, plastic, rubber, high pressure, low pressure, what fittings are used etc etc.

You will either need to remove them and take them somewhere so the person can see exactly what you need.

or just buy them from Audi knowing that they will fit and work first time and fitting should be with minimal hassle.

Again, nowhere near enough information.

Is it high pressure, low pressure ? Steel, other material ? What diameter ? What fittings required ?
