Great video, but....... As good as im sure it will be i still cannot get on with the looks. Sure, my E61 M5 is not the prettiest car on the road (by a long stretch) but reverting back to E39esque looks with the F10 isnt for me. Sorry, but i out on this one until ive seen it in the flesh. Those of you who do like it i doff my cap to you.

No it's great, it makes my E39 look modern again!Eddie
It does sound great BUT what spoils it for me is the sound is not actually genuine is it? It's a sound played through the stereo speakers.
It kinda spoils it for me knowing that it is artificial.
I'm not a N/A purist as I do think forced induction is the way in todays world but I just wish they hadn't tried to scoop the purists along by replicating the sound that they thought some would complain about not having!
I would rather they concentrated on the induction roar a la CSL

Nah the sound in the video is real, ie its exhaust noise. All the reviews acknowledge that it sounds great from the outside, it's on the inside where it needs help from the speakers.It kinda spoils it for me knowing that it is artificial.

Didn't the E39 M5 have the same problem? Recent posts on here would confirm that doing some basic mods on the exhaust give people the sound they've always dreamed of 
A friend of mine just bought an X6M, which has the same engine as the F10 M5 but with a different power output - I can confirm that it sounds good on the outside but pretty boring and uninspiring on the inside.
