I make no apologies if you were mislead by the thread title, but seems the hunters have become the hunted on FB.

(I hope this link works). It's the opinion of subscribers to the League Against Cruel Sports campaign.

Which has all come from the DM's article: "Kate gets in some target practice in preparation for Sandringham Boxing Day pheasant shoot."

Using guns is for wimps, i used to wring there necks, when we used to go poaching the local peasants.

Not really cruel to shoot them to eat them it is a countryside tradition, the shooting season is not the whole year too.

That's the League Against Cruel Sports. They would complain if someone shot a tree for fun, in case it felt pain.

If they're so upset about people killing imported animals for food in not absolutely the most humane way possible, perhaps they should go and picket a synagogue. I bet that will go down well.

More interestingly she clearly isn't yet seen as part of the family as someone has just chucked her an old keeper's boxlock. biggrin

Can't have the fillies using the decent guns, don't you know? Until they have got themselves in pig, one can't be sure they are a keeper. Can't have a barren sow as a partner for the son & heir.

Anyway the League Against Cruel Sports are just a bunch of veggie nutcases. I had a right to-do with them in the local High Street a few months back, got them to admit that they were anti anything that involved the death of animals for pleasure. I proposed that this involved meat for food, as people ate meat out of enjoyment rather than necessity, they agreed. As far as they are concerned everyone ought to be prevented from eating meat. tts.

Not read the links, CBA, but are we to assume she did actually hit one?
