Spent some of my redundancy money on this....
I think its a little beauty.
First rear wheel drive car for 15 years...
First petrol car for 5 years...
First car ever with more than 4 cylinders...

Ok. so its not exactly a 'supercar', and it rather old.....

but its mine. And I like it.

What the hell have you been driving all your life, dishwashers?

Had a couple of turbo / supercharged cars, but other than that, nothing interesting.

Describing some of them as a 'dishwasher' would be talking some of them up!!!

Nice biggrin

Don't like the chromey vents though (although they might be standard, not too familiar with Z3's)

What engine is it? I do like the Z3, think it has aged very very well.

That is very nice, always loved the look of z3's. Black on black suites it well.

What litre and BHP do these have? (in general and this particular one)

Engine is the 2.8 litre. Has some slight engine mods, gives around 210-220bhp so I'm told. But it sounds like its got more!!!! Very 'grumbly'.

Enough bhp for me, seeing as I have been driving FWD for most of my adult life (had a couple of MR2's years ago, and some 3 series BMWs) but nothing RWD for about 15 years.

Thanks for positive comments. I could have afforded some early Z4's, which would have undoubtedly been better cars, but this seemed to have more charchter.

Well done you. Spending any spare dosh on a noisy impractical 2 seater sports car makes you a fully paid up Pistonhead!

Nice. I love the Z3, especially the spitfire type vents either side of the bonnet.

Not the best handling of beasts (we had a lowly 1.9) but huge fun, and personally I love the looks; quite timeless.
