Abu Dhabi GP Missing From iPlayer

Hi. I'm trying to ask a question without looking at any news sites, spoilers, etc., so would appreciate it if answers could reflect my desire not to know the outcome

I've been out, just come back to watch the GP on iPlayer, but find that the coverage isn't there yet. Coverage of the Forum is there, as is FP1/2/3 and Q, but no race.

Now, as I said above, I don't want to know the result or the goings-on but don't want to wait forever. Did anything, err, 'unfortunate' happen which might cause the BBC not to provide the coverage on iPlayer? Or is this just a BBC glitch requiring a little more patience on my part?

Those are the highlights, which is usually not my bag. Or was the race really that dull?

Really odd. I have just been watching the full race, since about 16:30. Just getting to the last 10 laps or so and the picture says "do you want to watch this again" but the sound keeps going. So I refresh, and now cannot find it at all on any of the iplayer listings.

I've just come in from work to watch it, and met with the same. I'm irritated that I can't see it at my leisure, but its just another nail in the coffin for F1 AFAIC.
This is a sorry end to what is a farewell F1 season for me.

I'm a bit frustrated, there's no denying, but I don't really view it as my 'right' to watch it whenever I like; more a privilege to be able to do that without having to buy a PVR to record from Freeview.

No problem. Sadly, the BBC iPlayer page's interface is a bit muddle-headed, so in error I clicked on the 'Sport' button at the top of the page and, as a result, now know the result - bugger. May now watch the highlights after all, if only to prepare myself for next year

So far only an auto-reply from BBC. I've also reported it through the iPlayer 'Problem' page, but unclear if that's monitored in anything close to real time - probably not.

The iplayer report a problem form keeps throwing up 'Bad Request' errors which is slightly annoying.

That's weird, I've been watching it on the iPad version of inlayer for the last few hours, just on the post race stuff right now and its not put a foot wrong.

I've noticed this on quite a few of the races this year. On some occasions I've had to watch it the next day. It's very irritating. If they would only tell me a) why and b) when it is expected to be available, I would feel a lot happier. The standard FAQ response is annoying and not very helpful. I have an old PVR which I'll have to dig out and start using in future.

It's fking annoying!
I can watch the Forum show on iPlayer that discusses everything that happened in the race but not the race that they are talking about!!
Also I can watch the fking results from Strictly Come Dancing that finished at 8pm but not a Formula 1 race that finished at 3pm!

They pulled it for some reason about an hour before the highlights was shown on tv, was quite happily watching it on my laptop when the feed just stopped and i could no longer access it! Also annoyed that while i could get it initially on the laptop it wasn't listed on the iplayer on my tv
