Firstly, Hi to all, this is a virgin posting

Hope you can help........
I have a Micra (i know i know) it serves a small commuting issue at the moment, and in between cars
The car is a 1993 (L) model, when it was pronounced car of the year!!
It only has 36K on the clock, so i am keen to keep it, but..............
when idling, its great, but after about 5 - 10 mins it stutters terrible almost stalling, causing a unscheduled pit stop, this only happens when driving.
Its currently being interrogated at a local dependable garage, but they are at a loss, can anyone help

It isn't light metallic green is it with 13" 5 spoke wheels and has mudguards does it.

It sounds like my old 1993 Micra I had which had about 30,000 on the clock when I sold it and I've always regretted getting rid of it.

Nothing wrong with a Micra. They handle quite nicely, and the engine loves to rev. it's just if you drive it like an old person they are a bit rubbish.

Had to laugh.
No its a Red one, unmodified (cant quite think how i would anyway)
It does exactly what it says on the tin.
It was indeed driven previously by an elderly Biddy, hence the mileage
