I reckon this is probably the fourth time? What IS going on with this one?

Wild stab in the dark... seller is labouring under the misapprehension that the car is worth sh!tloads of money but isn't getting any genuine bidders so his mates (or his 'spare' accounts) keep bidding up the price. Then he claims that the 'buyer' never shows within the stipulated 5 days so he relists it. That's why it's always a 'private listing' and he never leaves any feedback (which you would if you were really messed around that much).
Dunno about you lot but I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole, no reflection on the car but the seller.
Sorry, but someone had to say it. Tops it's worth £500 and that's to someone who already has the missing bits stacked in the shed.

Couldn't agree more Wedg1e! Looked at it vaguely as a parts car for mine but all the decent bits are missing!Dunno about you lot but I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole, no reflection on the car but the seller.

Me too, colour is right, bonnet is WRONG, wheels need a refurb too !!£200 tops for me, and then i'd strip off what i fancy and part out the rest asap to declutter the drive.
In honesty, it looks like that's exactly what has happened to it already !!
Poor little un-loved mite !!
Its up for sale again on ebay, but to answer the question
In the last 2.5 years its been sold on ebay 3 times ! twice in October 2011 £815 & £510 and once this month £1020.
same seller, so buyers has failed to pay for what ever reason, some of which have been listed on the recent listing.
It might be worth a bit for parts, but there have been lots of wedges sold on ebay recently.

He keeps listing it with a stipulation that it has to be collected within 5 days. Why? It's clearly been sat there longer than 5 days since he first listed it, therefore it's not as if it's in imminent danger of being flattened to make way for an intergallactic motorway or something. It does however give him a convenient get-out (read: lie) when the supposed buyer fails to show. He has also, it appears, failed to leave any negative feedback for the supposed non-appearing buyers, which you imagine you would do, especially after the second or third no-show.In the last 2.5 years its been sold on ebay 3 times ! twice in October 2011 £815 & £510 and once this month £1020.

Finally, put yourself in the buyer's shoes. If you really wanted it but couldn't collect within the 5 days, wouldn't you offer to pay for it in full up-front, plus an inconveniece fee to hold it till, say, the next weekend? I bloody would, especially if it was a good deal. No, he and/or his mates are trying it on. I think an email to Ebay might be in order...

I hope someone manages to bag it for not much before it occurs to him to flog the engine and box and weigh the chassis in.
