Squeaky AMG seats

Afternoon all,

I bought a 2007 CLK63 AMG three weeks ago from an MB dealer, and whilst the car is fantastic, the driver's seat base has started to squeak when going over bumps, getting in and out etc.

The dealer I bought it from has offered to fix it, but they're nearly 2 hours away and I wondered if anyone can offer an easy fix that might save me the hassle of the drive there and back (assuming they can fix it quickly and I don't have to leave it with them).

It's definitely a sound like a spring rubbing on something, and I've tried moving the seat in every conceivable angle/direction. This did fix it for about an hour and then it came back again.

Anyone able to offer up any help?

Have you tried removing your wallet from your back pocket?

I believe the MB dealer did that when the car was purchased
