You have upto £40k to spend on any car you like.

The only thing is the car must depreciate as little as possible over a proposed 2yr ownership. Clearly this negates anything relatively new.

What would you go for?

F355 would be my choice, can't see them going much lower. Running costs might be a killer though!

Having bought sold one (for no loss) and watched the prices since I sold, they are still very firm (for the right spec/miles/age).

Do you think that will continue post-991?

I'm interested as i'm considering one next year

I think the 991 is definitely going to make the prices soften, gen 2's certainly have some falling to do..

Not strictly true on the nearly new, but you do have to choose carefully. Due to the spec on my last car a Cayman S, I lost only 3k in just under 2 years of ownership.

Another vote for 550 Maranello.

Do you want a fun car or a daily driver?

Bit of fun, not a daily.

Thanks for all the options so far. 328GTS/GTB also crossed my mind.

Keep 'em coming! lick
