So presuambly this means TVR Power are familiar with, (and therefore happy to work with) Tim Lamont's plenum upgrades?
I only ask because I have an ACT plenum, and am toying with the idea of getting a little more from the engine.
By the way Ozren, I see from your profile we have very similar tastes in cars! (Although both mine have the steering wheel in the right place.)

Yes and no.
Yes mostly, but not when:
a.) I spend 20 mins trying to get him out of the pond, in which he was fruitlessly swimming after ducks.
b.) he bolts after deer/rabbits/squirrels and we spend over three hours looking for him.
c.) when he steals whole pizzas.
d.) he ahs to try and fight every dog he meets.
But he absolutely loves the Griff - his tail wags madly when I fire the car up - so I can forgive his other shortcommings!

how much does the cost come down without the bottom end work? i assume this is were alot of the labour goes?
also why did you go with tims trumpets? i assume the supply larger trumpets seeing as they change the inlet manifold and plenum.. it doesn't mention trumpets on the webby.

Trying to respect the order:
- Cost: not cheap, but IMHO worth it. The basic cost is stated on the TVR POWER web, obviously they do not charge for what they do not do (e.g. re-balancing), but the final invoice will depend on how healthy your engine is – there are usually some stuff to fix. In my particular case, they had to replace ignition leads, we also put in a baffled sump, thermal heat block, a shiny Mallory coil, they had to move my AFM some 10-15 further front to free some space for the 90° AFM-plenum hose…
- Trumpets: thanks Andy (starmist) – at least, I preferred the idea of keeping them
- Roof: it was just a test to see whether someone will notice it (it just stopped raining since 5min)
- Vanished drivers: we paid an additional charge at the “Calais péage” so they closed the autoroute for other drivers…
PH is becoming a full-time job…

I keep editing my post to correct all those typos…
Unfortunately, another 3000km round trip will have to be put on hold for the moment.
