New to this forum . . .

Decided to attend and support the sprint/hillclimb scene in Scotland this year, couple of friends are competing (www.hoymotorsport.co.uk www.team-scottish-elises.co.uk).

I've always been a kinda experimental photographer, one who doesn't like many of the pics I take . . . for me cars whould look like they are moving in a pic from a hillclimb . . . 'cos they really are !

Hillclimbing and sprinting are very accessable, you get close to the cars, and that's good for pics . . . well worth a visit to one if you have the opportunity.

Here's some slow handheld stuff from the scary Doune Hillclimb . . . and the Forrestburn Hillclimb . . . www.woolymonkey.co.uk/motorsport/ . . . it's on my home server so if it gets swamped . . . be patient . . .

I'm just about to go Digital in the SLR department, so looking forwards to a faster turnaround and even more experimental shots ;-)

Well done!

I really like #6 for the sense of speed and drama and #7 for the beautiful curves, dramatic colour and sharpness. Nicely captured.....
