Scottish Cerbera Meets?

In my infinite wisdom,

I'm taking a hankering for a Cerbera- thiss is mainly down to

a sitting in one at the 1997 Glasgow Motorshow (aged 16!)
b reaching an age where I could afford to insure one.

I've done some reading on here re common pitfalls etc, but would be interested in meeting some owners to discuss their experiences..

I'm up in glasgow, so are there any meets planned in the next wee while?

Where in Scotland are you ? There are regular TVRCC meets , the West Coast one is this weekend.

I had one for a couple of years, before the Tuscan. Plenty meets, runs, though probably not at this time of year. Go for it prices seem really low now, expect some niggles, but be sure to have the out riggers inspected. Give Barry at tvr ecosse a shout, (he's in Dundee,) he'll let you know what's involved in replacing them if need be.

Based in Hamilton, so Fairly central..

Not sure if there will be any Cerbs there - Scottyd has his tucked away for the winter I think, I cant make the meet myself as have a funeral. Have been told the central scotland meet is a bit busier its on the 1st Sunday of the month

As already suggested give Barry at TVR Ecosse a ring he was really helpfull and gave me loads of advice when I was buying my Chim

Spent last week in Edinburgh - no tvrs. Tonight in hotel at kirknewton , no tvrs. In fact in the 70 or so times I have been to Edinburgh and Glasgow regions I have yet to see a Tvr or in fact anything at all sexy.

Plenty of TVRs up here, The central Scotland meet on the 1st Sunday of the month is the busier meeting, but a bit quieter over the winter.
I have a Cerb and Im in Falkirk.

Hi here i am

been busy installing my new ramp in the garage with much frustration but any way.

As Ewan said there is a Glagow meet but not many Cerbs up this way there is Andrew as well with a lovely purple cerb who goes to the Central scotland meets with it from time to time, as well as George myself and 2 or 3 others i know of who do not attend meets.

I am in Kilmarnock and your more than welcome for a look round mine, wont be able to take you out as it is in bits just now until the spring when i will have it back on the road.

How about you guys rampaging down to the west Mids meet this Sunday.Quite a few regions attending by all accounts.I think its least you can do to help Natben run in his new engine!

Natbens too bloody busy trying to earn overtime to help pay for his new engine to be having the luxury of attending meets to show it of!!

It could be a garage queen for the next few months as I won't have any time to drive the bloody thing!! but she is sitting resting in my garage having gone through major sugery!! and she has never been cleaner. I pop in to garage after work and give her a cuddle, and have a wee chat about the spring/summer months ahead when the Glens of Scotland will be awakened with a howling SpeedSix giving it LARGE

I won't be at the December meet at all, but the purple Cerbera will be there in January!

As for the West Mids meet - well I'm sure it's great, but it takes 5 or 6 hours each way from here!

But in the meantime, OP, if you just want a look round a Cerb and a wee run out (mine isn't a winter garage queen like some ...) then I'm in West Lothian and we might be able to sort something out.

Myself and one of my mate are always driving around in ours. (Tuscan and T350). You should be able to hear us next time you are up
