Looking for a V8 vantage
Discussion
After a good test drive on saturday, I've decided that a V8 is for me (though sadly not the one I test drove).
If anyne is thinking of getting rid, or knows of a nice 2007 on car in any of the silvers/greys with black leather, id be interested to hear.
Exhaust/ sill/ light upgrades no problem.
Warranty, for me, is a must.

Not sure what your budget is but our fabulous 2011 V8V is for sale at Broughtons in Cheltenham. Ask to speak to Rachel who is without doubt the most efficient sales person I have ever met.
The only reason that I traded it in was that I lusted after the V8S.
That truly perfect car has had everything thrown at it from a build point of view. Monster spec plus carbon bits and pieces.
I wish you luck in your search.

Great choice Darreni - good entry level to the AM fold, just ahead of the cygnet.Loads of info on here from clever people and a brief search will give you a lot of hints - I shall loop you in if required.
The only tip us DB9ers would bestow, would be to choose a colour best suited to your favourite tracksuit

please go for an old V8 Vantage
i have had one for 5 years & get enourmas pleasure
every time i drive it, so does everyone else on & off the road it seams!
it does drink petrol but i use it almost every day & the more you use it the
better it gets.
you can buy a good one for £35-£45k
people respect you & do not think you are just another`flash git` in an Aston.
you will spend less in maintenance in the old V* than a new one....i promise you.
please consider it....be different!

I don't think you can get an old V8 Vantage for £35-45k. Looking through the classifieds they seem to start at £85k and go well into the 100s. You can get a standard V8 for lessi have had one for 5 years & get enourmas pleasure

I would also hazard a guess that running costs on the older model would be more 99.9% of the time compared to the current V8V.
