Pub suggestions?

Hi folks, I'm working in St Margarets Bay near Dover and I'm looking for a good pub within about half hour drive that gas decent beer and nice food. I've tried the local ones and want to go a little further afield.

Anyone know of any that might fit the bill? Ta!!

A few of us went there Friday for dinner and it was absolutely superb

Hi Leesa Yeah, was in there not too long ago Nd was tally impressed with both beer and food. But you're right, bloody nightmare when it's high season!

There's another Fillets pub in the forest I like even more - the Oak at Bank.

We found a nice pub tonight anyway.
