Looks a good place to drive out to when the weathers nice!?

It's a bit desolate, there are some very deserted beaches and an old nuclear bunker to explore at RAF Holmpton (I think they do guided tours), close to Spurn Head itself.

Worth a look if you're in the area, but I wouldn't make a trip out there otherwise.

good for rock pooling and a general aimless wander/picnic. some great roads in that area too.

Tar chaps.

I will have to drive out there sometime a good drive over the humber and across to Hornsea for fish n chips and down the coast to Spurn!

Was that where James May started a Top Gear race? May was in an Alfa and he was racing a chap in waders crossing the river.

You're welcome! It was close to the Humber Bridge where the TG race was held, i think James May started somewhere near Barton Upon Humber, which is a small town on the other side of the estuary to Hull.

no decent chippies in Hornsea , best hoon up to Whitby along the coast rd
