Sky plus Remote

Hi all. My 2 year old got hold of the sky remote yesterday (without me seeing what he was doing) and now the select and up and down buttons don't do anything. Although they work in the tv guide and services, etc. it's just the banner that doesn't appear across the bottom of the screen when watching tv.

I've looked at all the settings and can't see anything obvious.

Anyone know where to start?

Buy a new remote from ebay as yiur current one may have had it.

lol....it's brand new and the buttons work in the menus. Definitely not broken, just a setting he's changed! Can't find out which one though!

Sorted it.....he'd set the banner time out time to zero!
