How much spending money will two adults need when going on a 11 night 5* B&B holiday to Egypt?

Just enough to eat and drink and be merry while doing so.

No need to factor in excursions/trips/shopping etc...

It is just that the place we have found to stay that we like only has a B&B option, and wondering if we should just stick to AI if it will be massivly better value for money?

If you have a cast-iron stomach that's used to middle-eastern water-borne bacteria then you could eat very cheaply with the locals.
Otherwise, budget for hotel prices.

I've even on their website but can't fine anything about food and drink prices.

I might sound like an idiot, but never gone on holiday like this before. Usually stick to uk or France as I don't like flying so don't have a clue about how much things cost outside of there

Which hotel/resort? Try TripAdvisor for reviews of the hotel and its prices and also eating places nearby.

Depends where you are, really. Hotels in Cairo seemed to sell beer for £1.50 a bottle but in Aswan and Cairo it was £2/£2.50.

Food was universally cheap - two course meal and drink for dinner would be under £10.

Not sure on prices at the beach resorts though, I've only done a Nile cruise type holiday.

I've only ever done it in hotels when SCUBA diving, so I can't speak on B&B prices.

But you can eat and drink there very cheaply, and no need for bottled water. Find someone who'll take you to the places the locals eat in and you'll be 'right.

It has been a while since I was there, but I'd guess you could eat and drink for £30 for two each day.
