In the event of your car going on an extended trip to the seaside (6 - 8 weeks for an engine rebuild) does anyone know what the normal policy is regarding alternative transport.
The work is being done under engine warranty, but it would appear that TVR have only got one courtesy car, and its out.
Is it really up to me to pay for and organise a hire car (currently over £100 a week for a micra that appears to have no engine in it) until this work is finished?
I guess this will teach me to only have one car!!
Cheers

A bit Off topic, but what was wrong with the Tam's 3.6 engine. Take it this is a 02-03 car?
Hope it returns soon
Mr F
Been running perfectly for the three months I've had it, then went out for about an hours drive in the Peak district. Just about got home and the engine started to make a horrible rattly noise. Sounded a bit like something had come off and was sitting on the crank shaft. That lasted for a few seconds then the engine jammed, and I coasted in to a convenient side road across a lane of traffic.
Car just over 6000 miles (3000 from me) and almost two years old.
Did get a rather amusing 'nice car moment' as it was parked up. Bonnet up confused looking AA man peering in and two lads rode past on bikes "cool car mate!"
