Morning,

I have bought 2 Porsche 996/997 turbo boxes and intend to install one of them in my upcoming Canam. There was a pressure plate installed in one of the 2 and
it has the porsche part number 996.116.020.51.
The factory is not supporting these boxes, but they have wonderful gear ratios and are strong boxes with a larger crown wheel and will work with shift cables, so offer everything which is desirable. I know some of you have the CMS version of this box and I am now needing some information what clutch disc, take cylinder and pressure plate you were using.
According to some internet research the GMFZ plate 996.116.020.51 is already the reinforced type, and it looks very much like the one the factory is selling in the uprated clutch kit for G50 boxes.
If anyone can confirm this, that would be great. I would like to use this plate as it looks pretty new.
Now I need to source a clutch disc, flywheel and a take cylinder for this box. I have inquired this from California Motorsports but maybe there are european sources as well ?
CMS has 2 types of G50 kits and I obviously need the 90+ setup and wonder what is different to the kit the factory is supplying for G50 boxes ?

I think that cover is the uprated version, it is listed for the the GT3, turbo and GT2. They are made by Sachs and we sell them at work (Eurocarparts). The cover and the disc are listed seperately and we also sell the kit. We also sell the "clubsport" kit too.
