Been playng a number of racing games of late in spare time and sebring is certainly up their in my top 5 tracks.

It is very technical and your constantly adjusting (yes I know its a computer game and not the real thing so maybe thats different).
However I've just about managed to get to driving GT cars round there at 10/10ths - when I step up to the LMP1 cars either it is breaching my skill levels but they just seem too fast for the track. I alter all the gearing suspension etc to ensure that I can hit vmax in top gear at the right point of the track - however in so doing the acceleration is so brutal it makes it exceptionally challenging.

So in the real world would an LMP1 car be faster than a F1 car driven at 10/10ths? And if so what kind of margin difference would it be??
Also from the game side should I be making all those adjustments? Note by doing this I am quicker than leaving it as standard set up.

Sounds like you are doing the right thing setup wise. I think as most other tracks, maybe LeMas excepted the F1 cars are quicker than LMP1 so I think at Sebring they would still be quicker.

LMP1 cars are generally 10-15 secs slower on the same tracks as F1 cars.

Do Indy series race at Sebring?
If so I guess we then have a LMP1 time & Indy time as a guide.

Since this is forza you're racing on you need max downforce at sebring not max speed.

Beg to differ, my Exige would get spanked by my 190e on that back straight

I dont mean max speed I mean gear the car so that on the back straight just after I brake I hit the limiter in the highest gear.
Otherwise you are over gearing the car for the track & thus not using the maximum power available.

An F1 car will be faster than an LMP1 car at any track given the right setup.

Even the Isle of Man wink
