Anyone else booked on this date?

Hope it doesn't snow! Done Brands 3 times and its a fantastic track.

We will either be in an Integra, clio or S3.

Booked as well, most likely in a silver Clio (unless I don't like at at Dony;))

Myself and my brother are signed up to this one.
He will be in an Evo 6 extreme RS450 and I'll bring an Impreza P1 unless the weather is nice then it will be a Noble GTO-3.

Starting from Shepherds bush, which is not far from Ealing either!

Now decided the silver 172 is coming with me.
Feel free to say hello folks, even more so if you come with the Noble (I wouldn't mind a passenger ride in this if not a problem) wink

you taking track day tyres? Trying to gauge how optimistic you're going to be.
Wondering what the weather will be like. If it's sh*t i think i'll switch to the 4x4 (Impreza).

Forecast looks like rain overnight and clear in the day, I'm on AO48s on the Exige

Were you at Brands on the 26th Nov? Saw a vid of a mate crashing his Sapphire Cosworth coming out of druids with a Green Exige braking hard to avoid him laugh

How is the novice instruction on these days - I see it 97.00 for all day instruction which seem good value.

Is Brands maybe a bit too challenging a track for a novice?

Just stop and think what quality of instructor you could possibly hire for £97.

Brands hatch is to date the only track I have driven my (old) evo on, so it was my first track, and I wouldn't say it was too challenging at all, I think there are far harder ones.

Don't know what is the usual charge for them?
I assume he is not in the car with you all day and will be split between a few drivers to make up for the low price?
I want to get some decent instruction and get to learn my car on a track and this seems like a good opportunity as its round the corner from me and quite soon and probably the last until next year Feb.

Do you think a instructor session for 30pounds would be better to show me around the track and then go easy on my own.

If you have any other suggestion that would be great but I suppose there allot of topics on this already so will search around too.

I would just get a short instruction session after you do a few of laps so you get the feel of it. Brands not difficult to learn, just difficult to master and usually very busy - which is the main problem.

I agree with Chris. You'll very quickly get to grips with the track - it helps that you can always see the next corner. You can almost see the whole track so quite simply to get your head around.

I've been there 3 times driving and all i find is a couple of corners take a LOT of practice to get totally right but apart from that i would suggest a session with a trainer and you'll be fine to spend the rest of the day getting better!
