RX8 R3 seats

Hi Guys,

Had an RX8 R3 for about 3 months now and I love it to bits except for the drivers seat. It a little snug for me especially on my thighs, its badly warn ( after 25000 miles) and its generally does nothing for my back. Rather than replace the car i figure its cheaper to replace the seat.

has anyone done this? Or can anyone recommend anywhere in Surrey or SW London where i could try a few seats out (Recaro would be nice to match the other)

Hi are you a member of the rx8OC? Plenty of good advice on there. I would suggest swapping both front seats for series 1 rx8 seats. They should fit straight in, they are more confortable and wear better than the r3 seats. Plenty of series 1 seats come up on ebay and im sure there will be plenty of interest for yours.

I am a member, but not a great fan of the normal RX8 seats either.

As comfort is more of a consideration than money I thought id treat myslf to one nice seat, keep the old one and replace it when its time to sell the car.
