Which Projector?

I noticed the topic 'which plasma?', and thought I'd ask which projector?. I currently have a 44inch rear projector and I'm thinking of changing this for a ceiling mounted protection unit. I'm finding it really difficult getting a demo that highlights the differences between LCD and DLP, different makes in different price brakets etc, retailers often dimissing brand A and recomending brand B , while another outlet recomends brand A and pours scorn on brand B.It's so much more difficult than buying say a CD player where a good demo is so revealing.
Anyone out there have any exprience with this type of equipment or could recomend a dealer with a good demo
room.
