Called in to Tescos recently.

Old guy in front of me at the checkout who looked like a bit of a boozer(no harm in that mind) was buying a bag full of various spirits.

None of my business thinks me. I'm walking out to the car and see this old guy hopping into his car - a taxi.

Got that really bad feeling that he was just clocking on and not off and that the bag of juice would soon be consumed during his shift.

What would you do?

Get the Registration number of the car, the taxi company name and a description of the driver..

Call in, don't phone, to the nearest police station and give them what you've got..

You owe it to the innocent people who are going to get mowed down by the pissed up driver..

OK - in hindsight I agree but on what basis can anyone do anything?

The guy has not yet done anything wrong. Can his company breath test him?
