Videographer needed. This weekend

I have an Open weekend and product launch.
I need a film making of my showroom.
Probably ten CD's edited and then the electronic copy for Social network use and reproduction later.

Firstly how much should this cost me.

And secondly anyone want to quote me?

We had a saying at the ad agency: 'Of course I want it today. If I wanted it tomorrow I'd have asked for it tomorrow'

As for price, it depends on hours on site and final running time as this determines editing time. Assuming one day filming and one day editing (eg 5 mins RT), I'd say around £800-£1,000 for a professional job, or £300 for Happy Larry and his camcorder.

I think my total lack of planning may be my undoing.
I was thinking somewhere in the middle, maybe five hundred pounds.
We are trying to capture a unique time at work with so many of out products in one place.
I guess two three hours of filming tops.
A trailer is after all a trailer.

The subject does lend itself to something a bit funky/crashbangwallop/music but of course the more intricate the editing gets the more it costs. Essentially it comes down to what you're going to use it for and what you want it to look like when finished. Currently it could be anywhere between a home movie and Top Gear. If you have no brief and just say 'do what you think best' you may be disappointed... most importantly consider it will be representing your business.
