Please help me ID a clutch slave (in reverse)

Concentric release bearing was my first plan. However due to my clutch and gearbox combo setup, none will fit that does not cost a few hundred pounds.
I shall upload a picture of what I'm trying to describe (poorly) when I get home later.
And I have realised that the bore can be larger then 3/4 inch, as I haven't yet fitted a master cylinder. Which may free up options.

late Alfa/Fiat/Saab units are a basic cylinder shape with no flanges, they fit into a bracket with a circular hole then a big circlip holds them in.
They have a good long throw and fabricating a bracket to fit to your box would be simple.
A local engineering company could knock one up for small money or possibly strip the piston out and get someone to weld a bracket to it.

If you can find an old fashioned car parts/ accessory shop, they should have something like the "Girling/Lucas" parts book. These contain line drawings and part numbers of their hydraulic components, which might be enough to help you narrow down your search.
(in the old days, my local car accessory shop would just point me in the direction of their store shelves and say "go take a look for yourself" ;-)
Failing that, try the AP Racing on line resources
