Hi folks

I sent around an email to see if anyone was interested in an Xmas event this year early on in Sept/October and did not receive any interest, however, after speaking with people at the event today we have enough people interested now to set something up.

So, if you would like to come, please let me know ASAP so I can try and arrange a booking at
the Windmill.

It would be for a weekday evening during the first 2 weeks of Dec (1st-16th).

As this is rather last minute, I will have to see what days I can get, but if I have numbers
then I can see what dates are available.

Please let me know by EOB Tuesday if you want to come or not and then I will get some
dates sent around.

So far I have about 4-5 people saying they want to come.

I also invite anyone from Middlesex if they are interested in coming, they are more than
welcome!

Many thanks, Alex.

Hi folks

I've made a provisional booking on the 13th Dec (Tuesday) for 10-15 people from
1930 onwards.

At the moment, they don't have a Xmas menu and are not sure they are doing something
specific, but they are sending me their generic menu which is more than varied enough
for most tastes.

When I have the menu, I'll forward it on for people to let me know what they want.

Thanks!

Hi folks

I just spoke with The Windmill to confirm our booking and they now have an Xmas menu.

They will aim to forward me a copy of the menu nf the next day or so, but if they do not manage to get a copy to me, then they have confirmed we can just order what we like from their menu on the day.

They do have a standard menu as well which I've copied from their website below.

If you want something vegetarian, let me know by Thursday, so I can tell them.

Thanks!

Alex

Hi Alex

I will not be able to attend the Xmas dinner next Tuesday as I have to attend a meeting in Scotland. Something always gets in the way of TVR stuff.
Have a good evening and I am sorry I cannot be with you all.

Would have notified you by e mail but that packed up yesterday

Cheers

Steve Moore xmas

Np.

Folks, remember this event is on Tuesday! Please try to be there for 1930 so we can get our orders in.

Thanks!

PS - Andrew from Surface & Design will also be along and we will have a few items for a raffle - including some stuff S&D has kindly donated for the event!

Hi folks

I've just this minute - literally - received the Xmas menu from Mike at The Windmill.

If you can review the choices and let me know ASAP what you want, I can then forward the information
to Mike.

Starters
Spicy Parsnip Soup
or
Prawn Cocktail
or
Spicy Chicken Wings

Main
Baked Cod With Tomato & Mascaponi Cheese
or
Sirloin Steak with Mushrooms Onion Rings Salad & Hand Cut Chips
or
Free Range Turkey with all the trimmings

Dessert
Christmas Pudding with Brandy Butter & Luxury Custard
or
Selection Of Cheeses with biscuits
or
Strawberry Jam Steamed Pudding With Custard or Ice Cream

The cost of the meal is £14.95 per person, which is a steal IMHO.

There is also the standard menu of course which I send out earlier

Your rapid response would be appreciated.

Thanks!
