Winter is coming so I bought - Elise 111R
Discussion
Hi All
With winter looming I figured it was time to change car. So I have swapped my comfy warm 330ci for ... an Elise 111R. So far I'm loving it. It drives like nothing else I've driven. Felt a bit weird not having power steering at first but once you get used to it its awesome to drive. Its has some poke too when you put your foot down. I havent pushed it too hard yet but a few quick corners and it really does stick to the road. The back end showed no sign at all of giving way.
Anyway, pics

Its a 2007 car with only 16k miles on the clock. Very happy with my purchase so far. Went to tesco in it this afternoon and surpisingly the little boot swallowed 4 full bags of shopping despite the canvas roof also being in there and could have taken a couple more.

Snap! I had my 111R for 2 years and did 20k miles in it without complaint. They cracking little cars which never fail to make you smile. Hard top will be great for winter and then get it stored away in the garage come spring to enjoy roof off motoring. Next stop fruity exhaust and induction kit!

The proper way to do winter driving! Had my vx for nearly 5 months now,and I am really noticing the roads are getting a lot slicker, even when not trying and being cautious!
Looks very nice, mine has a very dirty bum and I love it all the more for it! Used (11k in 5 months and counting!)

Like the colour, looks great with a hard top too. Driving for the conditions is never more appropriate in this car, go easy, enjoy, welcome, get over to http://forums.seloc.org/ too if you haven't already.
