Have you had a look at mytuscan ?

Things to look for

Suspension upgrade - Gaz golds on mine now smile
Spacers - SP
Engine rebuild - Unless cheap like mine smile
last 12k service and by whom
Independent assessment if you don't want any shocks.
heater works
air con (I haven't got it)
18" spiders that aren't bent.
New rad (Mine had one)
PAS not leaking (Not mine)
Anderson socket charging has been modified/removed/checked
Windows work
Alarm works
Dash pod works
New clutch/slave cylinder
Engine mounts

Think that covers it

Nice things

Flip bonnet is nice
New carpets and trim make a world of difference
CCC cans are nice and loud
Decat?
Decat Chip
GV Sag manual (Must have)

Like the look of this one although I don't know if it's a misprint on mileage, 98000 or 9800?

I would say it is 98000 if its just had an engine which has covered 10k just fitted.

98k really isnt that much for a car which has been used daily.....

Sniff.....weeping

That was mine, the mileage is 98k but trust me, it had everything it ever needed and then some. I had to let it go a few months ago but not before having had most moving parts renewed over my 4 year 'custody'

It was certainly loved and never sat up. Miss it enormously.

That is a great argument for when the Porsche owners turn up to say how they all fall apart at 10,000 miles.

Its ok because Porsche's do too smile Read the thread on 996 turbo prices. The turbo is considered to be the most reliable of the 996's, but you have to allow £5k a year to keep in on the road and you still might get a surprise big bill.

Hey, when my Tuscan was being repainted, the Caymen I got as a courtesy car blew up after only 10 days. You should have seen the Firebrigades faces when I didn't seem to upset at the suggestion of cutting it in half to put the engine fire out silly 'Its not mine' I said, 'do what you want'
