Looking to buy a HD Flatscreen TV with an internal Freeview tuner in the next couple of months.
Currently just got a CRT TV I have had for a few years. Due to where I live I use an internal ariel, but am not in a position I can just drill holes and attach to an external ariel.
Any recommendations for a decent internal ariel to use with the type of TV I am looking to buy?

I'd be interested to know about this. I tried one from PC World which was rubbish.

I'd love to know if there is a wireless solution to send a freeview or freesat signal around the house. Ideally not something like a Slingbox, some that can actually transmit the signal from the aerial. Does such a thing exist?

To the OP, do you get a good signal on your current TV? If so you maybe ok using the same aerial on the new TV, all you can do is try. Indoor aerials are not good, if you live in an area which has already switched over to digital only then the signal is stronger.

There are some active indoor aerial about, these are powered off the mains, if you get one from a decent store with a good returns policy then do this and experiment.

You really should get a proper external aerial fitted.

Agreed
I am in the trade and have only ever come across 2 or 3 indoor aerials that worked. these had line of sight to the local transmitter and a bit of wet string would have worked.

Suggest you check here http://www.rdi-lb.co.uk/ for info and your local approved aerial installer

Dont believe what the electrical sheds tell you, unless the signal is banging in they are unlikley to work
