Hi I am planning a road trip next year for a week really unsure where to start so i am looking for any routes info that any of you guys have done in the past. I want to go to the ring in the trip and do some of the passes like stevlio and then maybe down towards the south of france

We need to know how far you want to go and for how long, then we can recommend some routes smile

But if you want to do Stelvio, make sure its either early or late in the day as it gets very busy!

This is what I did a couple years ago excluding the ring.

To do it in a week with going to Germany it might be a bit of a treck at times, but if you time it right and can share the driving it will be alot easier smile

Buy a copy of Mountain High. Europe's greatest cycle climbs. Daniel Friebe and Pete Goding.

Great guide to the best climes - I bought it for a biker friend but applicable to drivers too.

Great photos. smile
