Have a look at the following video of a man making all the parts and then building a V12 engine, it's very very impressive. smile

That is amazing, i watched the whole vid just to see if it ran, then i was astounded with the attention to detail, it was an added bonus that it actually runs, good find sir!

Beautiful work.

Presumably it's not an internal combustion engine? Looks like it's a steam engine running on compressed air in the video.

Some excelent work there, my comments would be -
The slotted fixings spoil it a bit
If you are going to that much effort why not have more accuracy, for example the camms are geared 1:1 so it would never actualy work as an engine

It does work as an engine (it appears to be running off compressed air in the video). It's just not designed to be an internal combustion engine.

Amazing work. Such intricate detail and to be able to machine cranks at that scale and maintain decent tolerances! Superb.
