My Honda has no provision for attaching a roof rack at all.

This leaves me with a problem when I need to transport my kayak (15ft sea kayak).

I've tried some one of the univesal inflatable surf board type racks, but it's too thin & the curvature of the roof & kayak mean the kayak will still sit on the roof, not on the pads of the rack.

Anybody got any suggestions as to altenatives, these may be OK- http://maloneautoracks.com/kayak-block-162.php but other than that I'm out of ideas.
