Are swaps allowed on here

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum. Is it permisable to start a topic on here offering to swap my car for another car? I won't go into specifics, but basically we have a new car on order, and until it arrives early next year, I intended to continue running my shed. Only problem is it's a 2 seater, and the wife has just informed me that her parents are coming to stay for 2 weeks over Christmas. As they live abroad they will be flying. Rather than rent a car for 2 weeks, I thought about seeing if someone on here fancied a swap. Is this within the rules?

No not the wedge. I should remove that really as I don't have it anymore. It's a Honda CRX convertible with VTEC. I was thinking of a permanent swap really.

Empathy on the "wife insists we need four seats" point - my wife won't understand why we need a Cerbera, which after all has four seats....

Right, so I have a UK spec 1992 Honda CRX 1.6 VTEC with electric roof, all working perfectly. It has tax and mot (JUL-12), has had a recent service and cambelt has been done. It's green and has some rust spots, but overall is a solid and reliable car, and goes very well. I have fitted an Alpine headunit with a built in parrot bluetooth, and also I have put in 4 new alpine speakers. When I bought it, it had after market alloys, with strange size tyres. I bought a set of original wheels on Ebay with almost new tyres, but the alloys are available too if you want them. I estimate the value of the car to be about £1k, Looking to swap for something reliable with 4 seats. I'm not prepared to add any cash as i only need the car until about the end on January anyway. Car is in Manchester.

Anyone interested in a swap?
