Jeeeeesus, BiB were REALLY going to town on that stretch of road last night. I've been commuting to Guildford from Farnham for 3 months now and never seen a single Police car (probably just extremely lucky), but they had pulled out all the stops:

- One Huge Mobile Camera van with a camera in each of the doors parked up in a layby.

- Two Police Bikes half a mile further up the road

- Another Police bike unit a mile after that had someone at the side of the road looking sheepish

Suppose their intention was to catch people speeding home from work to watch England get a whoopin'.

Anyone else here see this little lot?

You sure it wasn't an ANPR ( See other threads ), which are not checking for speeding motorists; they are checking un insured/stolen/marked vehicles, which explains the bikes

AFAIK, Surrey are not yet using mobile scamera vans. It sounds like an ANPR set-up - Streaky
