Has anyone out there running 265/30x19 tyres managed to find snow socks to fit?

It's RWD but I'll only be doing the driven wheels. That's if I ever find any to fit, I'm googling now and my own thread came up wobble

I suspect you are out of luck. I just checked the size finder on http://www.autosock.co.uk and there is nothing.

Yeah, I do appreciate the logic. I wouldn't dream of putting winter tyres on the rear only.

Hey, thanks for trying. I'm on a mission now and I've just found these. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265-30-19-ISSE-Snow-Sock...smile

Will do a bit more digging as have seen close sizes a lot cheaper elsewhere but have also seen a premium one from Isse that was claimed can run on tarmac.

I looked for some to fit a 275/35/19 once before and had no luck. Might have another look this year.

Wow, what a great product! Never new they existed, people round here with the big Audis and other full size wagons that go skiing every weekend up in the Alps, seem to have these complicated looking clip on and off things attached by the wheel studs, these may suit your larger tyres?

FWIW, the B&Q near me had these in for £49 last week, full range of sizes as well.

I did. For a whole snowy winter. No problems whatsoever.

Before anyone gets on their high horse, I'm aware of all of the potential vehicle dynamics implications.

If you've got big wheels, make sure you've got space between the top of the wheel and the wheel arch. Otherwise they're a bd to get on.

Might be worth trying your local Vauxhall dealer, they were doing them last year and the VXR Insignia uses similar sized tyres so should fit? Just a thought...I have a set coming for the snotter that I got a deal on Groupon short while ago,

using a tyre size calculator it works out the same as 225 35 19 so these should be ok
