We've just received an email at work:

We have received information that the Occupy Leeds protest group and a Fuel Poverty action group are planning a joint protest this afternoon.
This will take the form of a so-called ‘Die –in’ at an “ opulent Shopping centre” in Leeds.
The details of their protest method and location are unclear but may entail protesters attempting to disrupt businesses by lying on the floor in sleeping bags, in large numbers.
The group will meet at City Square at 12.15hrs and then start the protest around 13.00hrs.

Police and Council officers are monitoring the situation.

I think the use of "opulent" rules out all but the Victoria Quarter but considering it can be closed off and possibly filled with gas should the "die-in" be encouraged?

Drove past City Square at 3.00 and the scrotes were still in their tents there.

I think I saw a group of drunks cluster bomb them with road cones on Wednesday evening - possibly after drinking for a few hours because his friend was back from Australia!

Can't be certain mind!!
