Care Home Info

Does anyone know any good websites that list all of the care homes in an area? And how many rooms there are in each one etc?

I'm organising a charity event for work and we were thinking of going to a local care home, afternoon tea, getting an Army band in for a performance, dance in the evening type thing. Want to make sure we can reach the most number of people and make a difference to as many as possible so the bigger the care home the better!

Or if anyone works in Dorset in the care industry and wouldn't mind us popping in let me know!

Hi, not sure if there is such a website, but perhaps the local care commission might have something? Worth a google anyway!

I work for a charity care home for mentally disabled adults in mid-Hampshire, we've got a pretty big sports hall that is usually available for use. It's got a bar, pool table etc. Don't know if that's the kind of thing you had in mind?

Try cqc.org.uk or your local social services department who should have a list of residential and nursing homes in the area.
