Anyone know much about this ?

I consider myself fairly well up on back pain, posture etc.. having had treatment by chiros and osteopaths over the years and having gone through the whole work RSI thing.

Never had any problems in any car until now ... bought a Cayenne which I love and the first month was fine but now i get pretty chronic neck pain which sometimes is pain in the shoulders and upper arms. Some days I can literally just get into the car and before I've ever set off the burning starts !

I have tried every (and i mean every) seat and steering wheel config going ... flat to the ground, bolt upright, up to the wheel, a long way back, edge of the seat tilting down and up, moving the lumbar pad in and out and up and down, and even trying a cushion behind me in varoius places

im usually very good as working these posture things out but im drawing a blank on this one ... what is obvious is that I am constantly pushing my neck and upper back forward slightly as a kind of focusing or cconcentrating action. I try to counteract this but subconciously i go back to it and its far worse off the motorway when I am stopping, startinga nd turning a lot etc. That said, sometimes I don't do this and i still get the pain. A part of me is pretty sure its all to do with the angle of my neck in the car and how that is causing the strain and that in turn is linked to the height of the vehicle (ive never driven 4x4's before). Thing is, if i try and alter that neck angle it doesnt really help.

I would be really grateful if anyone has any ideas that I could try. Short of getting someone qualified to come out with me in the passenger seat I'm really at a loss and its driving me nuts.
