A cheeky request; Does anyone have a spare car ?

Hi everyone,
As the title suggests, over the next few weeks/'till January or so, I will be needing transport. I am back at work after 3 months following the absolute disaster that was my attempted move to Oz and a year and a half of plans that went up in smoke.
The long and short is that I need to be able to get to work at some very odd hours over the Christmas period and current financial circumstances simply do not allow me to either buy or finance something at the moment.
So, if any of you good PH'ers have something going spare that you wouldn't mind being used/insured/maintained over the winter months, I would be gratefull to hear from you. Alternatively, if you have something that you are trying to move on, say around the £500 mark and would be happy to take a weekly amount....please get in touch. I'm based in West London.

you could also turn this on its head and offer to drive them around in it during the silly season to avoid taxi fares.
A friend of a friend knew a guy who bought a cheap jag and let the friend borrow it whenever he wanted in return for running him around a bit on the odd evening, everyone wins!
