TVRCC Herts & Beds: Morgan factory visit Feb/Mar- numbers

Hi folks

Over the next few weeks, I will be sending out ideas for events and wanting feedback on who is interested so
that I can get them arranged.

The first of these was on Sunday about the Landrover experience at Gaydon. I have had a few responses so
far, but would like to remind people I need more responses as well!


The second event is a factory visit to the Morgan Factory near Birmingham and Malven for sometime in either
February or March.

I cannot give any dates yet as I'm primarily after numbers. If I get enough people interested, then I will enquire
after available dates.

Like the Jaguar factory visit, this is a week day only event, but unlike the Jaguar event costs £10 (which is nothing).

So, if you are interested, let me know by EOB 20th Dec and I will see what I can arrange!

This event is primarily open to members from the Herts & Bed and Middlesex regions, but open to members from other
regions if they let me know and I have spaces available.

Nick has suggested I make this event more in the summer period. However, I have a concern about all the other national club events and popular car events that are also on during this time.

I'm happy to look at mid-late April if that is better for people. Let me know!

Looks like we can have a "largist" group for this event, so extended the invite to MidEssex/Cambs if they want to come as well. Might need to put on a quota if too many want to come, but we shall see.

Thanks to everyone who has responded so far.

I have been in contact with the factory and tours get booked up fairly quickly in
March/April, so I was asked to book the tool earlier rather than later.

So, I will stick to the 20th Dec deadline for getting numbers and then book a date in the
week of the 16-20th of April based on those.

Last call for this event!

I have 28 up for the event so far and will make the booking on the 20th Dec based on who has said they are going, so if you have not yet indicated you want to go, please do so before then.

The date will be somewhere between the 16-20th April, so you will need to be flexible over those days.

Right folks,

Just to confirm. I have now booked a tour at Morgan with capability for 45 people.

Date: Monday 16th April, starting at 12:30

The tour will run for 90 mins and will cost £10 pounds, although I was warned it may go up slightly next week (potentially).

Parking should not be a problem, but if I will need to confirm the number of cars going nearer the time, so I will do that more at the beginning of April.
