I had the tracking down on the above by my local firm. Little did i know that there is a steering angle sensor and if the tracking is done and anything is moved it logs it as a fault.
So, BMW reset it and 1 mile down the road it's pinged up the same issue. BMW has tried again and even replaced the sensor but it still happens (says it's an EDC fault) and they have also done the wheel alignment on the correct KDS BMW approved machine at the main dealers and still can't fix it.
Does anyone have any suggestions/experience of this fault as the guys at M5 Board have provided no help what so ever!
Thanks

Couple of things you can try.
Reset your tyre pressure sensors once you've checked your pressures are correct. A difference in tyre pressure causes a difference in rotational speed, which might be telling the car that its turning.
Try doing a diff recalibration. Take the car to 60mph. Put it in Neutral. Pull both paddles for 4 to 6 seconds. Put it back in S. This should always be done after tracking and tyres and it measures rotational variation. A difference between the readings from the Steering Angle Sensor and Diff Sensors might cause errors.
Double check you have the right wheels on the right corners. I know that sounds lame but the fronts are different to the rears and will have different rotational diameters. I think the rears are 35mm profiles and the fronts 40mm. Might be wrong though. But check anyhoo!

Interesting bit of info on the diff re-calibration. Are there other tricks people should know?
I see potential for another wiki to keep you busy!
Lol, yeah: only ever drive in S mode if you value your sanity and clutch. Interesting bit of info on the diff re-calibration. Are there other tricks people should know?

Other than that no not really. Everything else requires a dealer reset.
