Yes I must be dumb, it's for a Mondeo 56 plate. A quick search and you get all the same answers which is basically the link below. This is all fine and dandy, it took me 2 minutes to get that far but then I still can't get to the bulb that needs changing (side light) which is the small bulb below the one that bloke pulls out on the video. It looks like I'm going to have to dismantle the whole unit just to get to it. Any help asap would be gratefully appreciated as it's one them easy jobs that's turning out to be a huge mission. Thanks.

Open the bonnet.
Remove the grill (two clips)
Remove the two metal sliders behind the lamp unit.
Remove the power connector.
Twist the cover off by the sidelight.
Curse and swear as you try to remove the bulb holder (I used pliers).
Refitting is reversal of removal.

Do the surrounds still melt on these making them harder to remove? Mine came out easily & are now replaced with Philips LED.

Good stuff. At least taking the whole headlight out makes things easier, you should see the Mk1........

Watch LEDs, if fitting them - they're directional.

Nothing worse than pulling it all apart, discovering that one works and one doesn't... hehe

Ha, I know, electronics is my back ground wink FYI the Philips ones are great & are much brigher(& whiter) than the old lamps.
