My 57 plate XKR has 20 inch wheels but does not handle exactly as I would wish. It tram lines a bit and is most noticeable when overtaking and crossing white lines.
Is there a way of improving this with steering set up?
Great big GT, I know it is not a sports car as suck and will not drive like my 911 or T350 TVRs did but I would like a better turn in and general drive when tramping on.

To be honest I don't think Jaguar fitted the best tyres for the job

I would fit Toyo T1-R's but now they aren't being made!!!

Could also have the Tracking and Camber checked, not by Jaguar, by some one that knows what they are doing
Trouble there though is the camber isn't a just adjustment job on the back, needs shimming

Thanks Norman the driveshafts have a sliding joint at the diff end, can you tell me how the shims affect the camber.

X150 rear camber is not adjustable, suspension has nothing to do with the older generation X100

Yes I have found the suspention is not like the X100, but;

There must be some form of adjustment like consentric bolts as on the front suspention

What tyres are fitted. I pressume Dunlop Sport Maxx.

I have an X100 XKR and on those changing from P zero's made a significant difference to the tramlining.

Pressures need watching also.

As for the handling, are you being too optimistic for a heavy front engined GT.

Handling desires aside the X150 XKs should be good for general tramlining and whitelining on poor road surfaces, but then they're also sensitive to poor wheel alignment so worth getting this checked out. Front is adjustable for camber, castor and toe, rear just for toe.

I had 4 wheel alignment done. rear was well out on one side. Front they claimed could only be adjusted in 2 of the 3 ways and maybe needed a kit for the 3rd? Maybe my imagination but seemed to drive better home thanks.

The rear can do this but means it's had a whack at some pint or one of the toe link joints is a bit worn.

The front adjustment is there, camber and castor are done on cam bolts, toe on the track rod.
