The humble rev counter

20 years ago no sporting car was complete without a rev counter it has been the mainstay of the options list for many many years. Now it is only the very bottom of the poverty range that come without a rev counter

So what is the best car that didn't/doesn't come with a rev counter?

I suggest the landrover defender td5

Must be the new Rolls Royces - don't they come with a "power reserve meter" instead? smile

The Veyron has one too but I don't know whether it has a rev counter also.

Pug 205 (non turbo) diesel. Turbo diesels were posh with rev counters, but tbh what they showed usually didn't have much to do with what the engine was actually doing.
