Hi guys the mobil ones as per TVR handbook are now at best hard to find [probably obsolete].The gearbox should have mobil ATF 220 and the diff mobil HD SAE 75/90. What are the modern alternatives/ I appreciate people will have there own personal choice, but anything of similar spec or better than the quoted mobil originals is what im after.
I rang mobils tech helpline and a very nice lady, speaking english with a very strong german accent just confused things even more, and better still asked "whats a Chimaera" I hung up in frustration.

I changed to these and found a noticeable improvement in gearchanges and a quieter diff, which was beginning to whine on overrun.

Gearbox Dexron 3 - Castrol TQ D111 ATF
Diff. Castrol SAF-XJ Synthetic
